4. For use of an original character written by another fan fiction author, permission to use the likeness of their character must be obtained. In cases where there is a dispute over stolen intellectual property, all offending works of fiction will be removed until a decision is reached.
5. All works herein are works of fiction based in whole or in part on J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series and its cinematic counterpart. Any story found to be not of a fictitious nature or containing elements of someone else’s intellectual property excluding the abovementioned will be removed once reported.
6. Each work of fiction contained herein is the sole property of the author. Dirty Howler bears no responsibility for content that is offensive or in breach of law beyond that assurance that the ratings and warnings for each story are appropriately labeled in a legible manner.
